To All North Metro GHSA Umpires,

We have received our 2008 & 09 school assignments from the GHSA.
I am very pleased to inform you that North Metro has been assigned
the following schools for the 2008 & 09 seasons:

Berkmar
Brookwood
Dacula
Grayson
Loganville
New School (Archer for the 2009 season)
Shiloh
South Gwinnett
Tucker
Winder-Barrow

Also, we will be responsible for the Brookwood (Varsity),
South Gwinnett (Varsity) and Grayson (JV) tournaments.

In addition, we will be partnering with Multi-County Umpires
not only on our tournaments, but their 2-3 tournaments.

As you can see there will be plenty of softball to call.

The above schools represent some of the top programs in the state
(Loganville and Winder-Barrow are very competitive programs).

These school assignments represent a tremendous vote of confidence
in North Metro Umpires Association by GHSA.

I am positive that we will all meet or exceed the GHSA's
expectations of North Metro's performance.

As we are all aware, we must meet several requirements to qualify to do
Varsity Level and Postseason games.

One of the mandatory requirements is that you must attend a GHSA
Umpire Camp. If you don’t meet all the GHSA requirements, you will be
restricted to JV Level ball only.

In closing, I will like to take this opportunity to say Thank You for all
your professionalism and hard work over the last two years. It has been
your hard work and Commitment to Excellence that has brought us this
opportunity.

Looking forward to an outstanding 2008 GHSA season,

Mark Sickles
